My Trade Domain – Blog Review

If you are looking for another blog that will offer you some tips and tricks on how to improve your Internet marketing, then check out My Trade Domain, a blog offering website hosting and optimization tips, offers, and tutorials.  The blog is written and owned by blogger Dinesh. Dinesh wishes to use the blog as a venue for sharing his experiences in hosting, optimizing, and managing various domains.  Dinesh has been involved with the hosting industry in one form or the other for almost ten years now, and currently manages a fair amount of websites on top of this blog.  Having much experience in buying and selling domain names as well as hosting and related products, Dinesh feels he has a lot to offer his readers based on his experience and knowledge that he has gathered from reading books and online.  To get to know Dinesh better, as well as see a sampling of what he has to offer, check out some of his latest bloggeries:  SEO 101 – What Every Webmaster Should Know and Follow (a Two Part Post), Do You Time Your Blog Comment Responses?, Hide that Affilliate ID in your Link, Research the Blog Before You Advertise On it, Another One of those AdSense Optimization Tips, Ready to Advertise your Website – Wait Do this First, 4 Quick Checks to Qualify a Website for Sale, and Picking a Niche – Single Most Important Factor to Keep in Mind.

The site is fairly new making it extremely easy to navigate.  Bloggeries are left marginalized and there are both a top and right navigation system.  Bloggeries are in black text on white background and the blog is bordered in black but contains forest green accents with links and headlines in forest green.  In the top navigation system there are links to Home, About, Archives, Sitemap, and Contact page.  In the right navigation bar there is a subscribe button and the Categories Menu.  This Categories Menu is fairly comprehensive, and also accessible through the footer of the blog.  In the Categories Menu you will find categories such as Anatomy of a Blog, Domain Names, General, Getting Your Feet Wet, Hosting, How To, News, SEO, Starting Out, and much more.  At present, there are no pictures on the main page of the blog, but most of the bloggeries contain a ‘continue reading’ link and this will lead you to posts with tutorials and such that contain relevant pictures for the bloggeries.

I will go with a 2.4/5 for this blog for now, though it does seem to have some promise.  Activity is very good for a new blog with new bloggeries coming in about every other day.  The content is user friendly for the most part, however readers coming to this blog will get more out of it if they are somewhat experienced in SEO techniques.  By that, readers should have at least a little bit of knowledge to understand some basic terminology such as SERP’s and so on. If the blogger is trying to reach brand new bloggers and marketers, he may want to make his content a little more user friendly for the novice blogger.  I also think the blog looks a little sparse, which I attribute to it being such a new blog.  The blogger may want to see that pictures with bloggeries are featured on the main page of the blog to give it a little more spice, and should consider adding some blog meat to the side bar.  Possible suggestions for this would be a Recent Posts Menu, or Recent Comments Menu, or even both. This will not only contribute to the overall appearance of the blog, but to the navigation as well.  Overall however, this is a good blog with some great tips, and will definitely have something to offer those looking for SEO and optimization advice.  I would also like to see the author fill the sidebar; there is simply too much empty space which makes the blog look bare when in fact it doe have good content. I like the blog and enjoyed reading it; unforunately the template and lack of graphics gave a less then stellar first impression. With these elements fixed it would score much better.

Kivinars Blog – Review

Make Money Online with Kivinar Blog ReviewIf you are looking for another website that offers you tips and tricks of the trade of making money online, than you may want to have a look at Kiviniar’s blog. The owner of the blog is Kiviniar, a 24 year old who writes from India, and left his full-time job in December 2007 to earn a living online.  Kiviniar is also seeking an MBA in Marketing, and will see that dream come true in about a year and a half.  Kiviniar has spent a lot of time building websites and making money from them, but he is taking it to the next level by blogging about it in his goal to become the New Age Webmaster.  He enjoys building websites, but wants to use his blog to interact with peers and to help some newbies along the way.  At Kiviniar’s blog you will find updates on the best money making opportunities on the web, as well as web technologies or anything else he may find interesting or even controversial.  Find out more about Kiviniar’s blog by reading any of his recent bloggeries:  Voxant Newsroom CPM Rates for March; Bloggers Need Advice, Up Start; Time to Moan Again: Frustration or Ecstasy; Getting Started with Affiliate Marketing, and Free WordPress Themes at Sutra Skins.com.

Page Rank DanceThe blog is well organized and neatly laid out which makes it easy to navigate.  Bloggeries are left marginalized and there are two right navigation systems as well as a top navigation system.  To note, this blog is better viewed in Firefox.  Bloggeries are in black text on white background and links are highlighted in a light turquoise.  In the top navigation system you will find links to the Home page, Glossary, About page, Contact page, Forums, and Free Directory.  The left navigation bar offers you advertising, Webmaster Tools Menu, The List Galore, Tag Cloud, Categories Menu, Archives Menu, and a My blog log visitors widget.  Categories you will find on this blog are things like Affiliate  programs, Announcements, Cash Cow, Contests, CPM Programs, Freebies, Glossary, Java Script, Paid Blogging, PHP Scripts and so many more.  In the far right navigation bar you will find the blog meat – Recent Posts Menu, Recent Comments Menu, Highest Rates Posts, Blogroll, Contact Info, Family and Friends List, and stats menu for how many readers are online at Kiviniar’s blog right now.

This blog gets a 4/5 as it scores very well on just about every count.  The blog is well organized and contains all of the essential blog materials thus making it very easy to navigate.  The blog is simply laid out with a clean design so it scores well for appearance as well.  The only change I would make to the appearance is the ads located within each post.  They may be a little distracting to some readers if they are confronted with ads within every bloggery.  The blog is unique in its own right, so it scores well there as well.  The content scores well as it is well-written and the techniques and tips are given in a user-friendly voice that most bloggers will appreciate.  The activity however could use some work as bloggeries are coming in every few days at most, and the most recent bloggery is about a week old.  The blogger will  need to be a little more active in order to sustain his readership. Otherwise however, this is a well organized blog with user friendly content, and thus, it should sustain a healthy readership over time.

Conversion Stats Blog – Review

Conversion Stats - Internet Marketing - Blog ReviewIf you are looking for some additional tools to track your current website or blog’s success, then you may want to stop in at the blog for Conversion Stats. This blog is for the company known as Conversion Stats located in Hayneville, Alabama.  The goal of the company is to provide you with an efficient conversion tracking system that will allow you to succeed in Internet Marketing.  At Conversion Stats, you can use their tools to gain access to first rate analytics and statistical reporting for things that are happening on your website.  Using these tools, you can study the dynamics of the development of your website or blog, and see just how successful your marketing campaigns are.  The blog for Conversion Stats makes it a little more personal, by offering you articles and tips on how to maximize your blog or website success.  Find out for yourself what Conversion Stats has to offer by checking out any of their most recent bloggeries:  Shopping Cart Optimization, The Web Analytics ABC, SEO Campaign Tracking: What to Start With; Promoting Your Website: Off-page Optimization; Web Analytics Methods For Your Business, Website Analysis: Some Like it Hot; and How to Measure your Websites’ Success.

Conversion Stats Internet Marketing BlogThe blog is run by a professional company, and as such it offers the same clean layout that the company website offers.  Bloggeries are in black text on white background with links highlighted in black for headlines, and in red for all other links.  In the top navigation bar you will find links to Home, Overview, Demo, Pricing, About page, Contact page, and a log out page.  Bloggeries are left marginalized and there is a right sided navigation bar.  In the right navigation bar you will find links to the About page, Archives Menu, Categories Menu, and Blogroll.  The blog is very small, only a few months old at this point, so there is not much blog meat to it yet, but it is growing.  The categories you will find in this blog are Pay Per Click and Website Analytics.  Most bloggeries are associated with relevant pictures, and the headlines for each bloggery are in a nice big font, so you really can’t miss them.

I will give this blog a 3.2/5  at this point, though I do suspect it will be a very successful blog and would score higher in the future.  The blog scores well for appearance and navigation, as well as for a unique concept to the world of making money online.  The content is done well and in a user-friendly voice that makes the applications and techniques discussed easily understood by the reader.  The activity could use some more frequency, as bloggeries are quite frequently several days apart, even more than a week in some cases.  For a new blog I would suggest daily activity just to give the search engines a consistent flow of ‘food’ content.  The blog being so new also looks a little sparse in the navigation bar, and I might suggest adding some standard ‘blog meat’ menus to fill up that space.  Things like Recent Posts or Recent Comments would make a great difference here.  Also, I would suggest the addition of more categories, as the bloggeries that are currently displayed on the home page could easily be spread across a number of categories given their keyword friendly headlines.  By adding more categories the blog would again, attract the search engines with those keyword friendly terms. Finally I’d recommend they change their title from their website URL to something more descriptive like “Conversion Stats Internet Marketing Blog“. Overall however, it’s a good blog and professionally laid out.  For a blog stemming from a business concept, this should do very well over time.
