Is it a Good Idea to Switch to a Dog Food with Lamb?

lamb formula dog food

Deciding on a dog food shouldn’t be a difficult decision, but for some reason pet owners are at a loss for words when it comes to which dog food is best. Part of the reason for this is because there are hundreds, if not thousands, of dog food providers to choose from. Another reason is that every dog is different, meaning the dietary needs of dogs range drastically.

A common question on the minds of pet owners is whether or not to make the switch to a dog food with lamb. All dogs need protein in their diet, but the type of protein is up for debate. PetMD says that “dogs need protein to build, heal, and maintain body tissues and to protect and regulate body process.” There are several reputable animal proteins to choose from, the most common being beef and chicken.

Lamb is another great choice, but for some reason it slides under the radar a pet owners set out to choose a dog food. Here you can learn about why making the switch to dog food containing lamb is a good choice.

Lamb is Packed with Essential Amino Acids

Humans have been eating lamb for thousands of years, and not just because it tastes delicious. As long as you are OK with eating animal products, you should start eating lamb today to experience the numerous health benefits that come along with this protein. The first benefit is that it contains an insane amount of essential amino acids, vitamins, and minerals. A few of these include zinc, Vitamin B12, and iron.

These elements promote healthy muscle growth, build the immune system, and give the body energy. This is true for humans, but also for canines. As long as you choose a lamb-based dog food that is high in quality, your dog will reap all of the health benefits that come along with consuming lamb protein.

Lamb is a Low-Fat Protein

If your dog is getting a bit chunkier with old age, it might be time to consider ditching the beef-based dog food. Dog food contain beef comes with a great deal of fat. Even though fat is an essential element of a dog’s diet, too much fat can cause a dog to become, well, fat. Lamb has a much lower fat content than beef or chicken, so your do will be able to shed a few pounds when you switch to lamb dog food.

Lamb is a Great Alternative for Dogs with Allergies

Did you know that chicken is one of the most common allergens in canines? This comes as a shock to many pet owners. It’s no surprise that many dogs experience allergies and food sensitivities to foods like wheat and corn, but chicken is another big allergy-inducing ingredient. Lamb is an amazing alternative to chicken, especially if you suspect that your dog has a chicken allergy. Of course, there’s a chance that your dog could have a lamb sensitivity, but this is extremely uncommon.

Bharat Bhise HNA – Why Every Small Business Needs Cyber Security

For the last 6 months I have been working for a cyber security company and showing me the ropes is the highly experienced Bharat Bhise HNA. This has long been a field in which I wanted to work and working alongside Bharat has helped me immeasurably. Part of the job which Bharat and I do is to convince business owners, particularly small business owners, of the many benefits of investing in cyber security.

Bahrat is brilliant at explaining to people why it is so important and if you have a small business then I want to pass on to you exactly why you should listen to people like Bharat and myself, and invest some cash in boosting your company’s cyber security.

Attacks Happen More Than You Know

The first thing to mention is that in many cases you won’t even know that you have been hacked, you’ll stroll into work as normal and conduct business, without realizing that your business and your customer’s sensitive information will be in the process of being sold or used. This is a hugely important reason as to why you need to get cyber security in your business. Secondly you need to bear in mind that cyber attacks are more common than physical attacks to your business, we invest in CCTV, locks and alarms, so why not protection for our computer systems? These attacks have happened to thousands of businesses around the world, big and small, and they can and will happen to you unless you get smart.

Consequences

Spending money on cyber security is much like investing in insurance, you may never need it but it will come in handy at the bets possible time. The consequences for businesses can be huge after a cyber attack and this is why it is so important that you have your guard up and that an attack doesn’t happen. Your business could lose money as a result of an attack, it could have its systems damaged so that you need to have them cleaned and fixed and the worst case scenario is that you destroy your reputation. If a customer has given you their information it is because they trust you to keep it safe. If your business is breached and you lose sensitive customer information then you can bet your bottom dollar that they won’t be coming back to do business with you again.

Solutions

Many companies offer great solutions to their clients from cloud-based software to mobile applications, whilst these are excellent tools for the customer, they also leave you far more open to an attack. If you plan to offer your customers tools such as these then you had better ensure that your cyber security is right up to date, failure to do this could result in these handy solutions being turned into weapons for hackers.

Don’t give it a second thought, educate yourself on the risks and invest in cyber security today.

Lyoness – Key Business Lessons Which May Help You

If you are looking at setting up your own business then I would like to share with you some key learnings which I have made after completing 3 years in business. I opened Lyoness, a female beauty store back in 2016 and the journey has been incredible so far. Naturally there have been highs and lows during that period but we have survived, and we have just started to make actual profit, an exciting time.

Although I studied business at college, you really don’t learn about running a business until you actually do it and this experience has been very eye-opening for me. Here is what I learned from those first 3 years with Lyoness.

Recruiting

One of the key learnings which I have made since launching the business is that when recruiting, you have to bear the team dynamic in mind. For the first year I would hire sales staff or management based on their own profile, without considering how they may fit into the team dynamic. The consequence of this was the hiring of some people who were great at sales, but who weren’t good at working with a team or getting on with others, and this presented a number of conflicts. Now when I hire people I ensure that they are the right fit for the team.

Marketing

Now that I look back on the first 3 years I realize that the way in which we have spent money on marketing has not always been the smartest investments. For example when we first launched our marketing campaign we decided to use email marketing and we then spent a lot of time on social media, although we didn’t pay for social media ads. I now know that any marketing strategy should combine a number of different marketing approaches, in order to really get the most from it. Instead of investing our whole marketing budget on one method, we now spread it out to hit as many points and targets as possible.

Small Steps

Something which I was very guilty of from the outset was trying to turn this business into a global leader after just a few weeks, well my dreams weren’t quite as grand as that but you get the point. I am not someone who is very good at being patient and this is why I was already planning for growth before we had even established ourselves. It became apparent after a couple of months that these years were about building a foundation from which to launch the business from, a key learning.

DIY

There is a temptation as a business owner to do it all yourself in order to save money but you simply cannot do it. There just isn’t enough time in the day to complete all of the tasks yourself and you have to either outsource or delegate in order to be more effective.

Hopefully the learnings which I have made with Lyoness can help you in your business endeavors.
