MyContentWebsite’s Internet Marketing Blog – Bloggeries Review

Yet another valuable resource for Internet Marketers. Stop into MyContentWebsite’s Internet Marketing Blog if you want even more tips and information on how to “build, operate, and monetize” your website. If you are a webmaster trying to make money online, this site is a pretty comprehensive look at both traditional and creative means to get the most out of your website. Recent posts include “Review Me opens up the marketplace”, “Traffic Exchange Programs”, “Collect Your payments on time-everytime, and “Another Opportunity for webmasters”. On this site you are not only going to find standard means of making money online, but you will find product reviews and marketing and advertising information that you may never have heard of before. There are tips and tricks here for both the novice Internet Marketer, to the expert Marketing gurus. If you are looking for any topic related to Internet Marketing, you will find it here.

Navigation on this site is fairly straightforward. The site has posts justified to the left margin, and categories and partners on the right sided navigation bar. Categories include any topic you can think of when it comes to Internet Marketing – Design and Graphics, Domains and Hosting, Marketing and Advertising, MCW Directory, Monetize, News, Resources, Scripts and Programming, Site/Product Reviews, and Website Content. The layout is simple with black text on white background, and there are no distracting colors or distractions. Overall, the site is laid out very traditionally, with external links being easy to get to.

I am going with a 3 however for this one. The site scores the most points for content, but it needs some work in each of the other areas. This blog could work on its advertising as the main page has little yet others have more; not sure why. Activity needs a little work with posts varying from one or two days apart to over a week. Overall the site has some good pictures to illustrate its points, but again, you have to dig for them. If some of these were moved to the front page, it would make a much bigger impression. That being said, I would still bookmark this page if I was an Internet Marketer because it is content rich, and the writing is very user friendly. Judging by the host of comments on each page, this site has a good following as well, which is also critical to its success. A few formatting changes will make this an invaluable resource tool.

Best Celeb Gossip – Webs Best Celebrity Gossip Site – Bloggeries Review

Best Celebrity GossipIf you are a celebrity gossip fan, this site is going to satisfy your appetite with a huge celebrity dish. To discover the latest and greatest on just about any celebrity, stop into Best Celeb Gossip: The Web’s BEST Celebrity Gossip Site to have a sip of “Celebrity Juice, Freshly Squeezed”. This site is co-authored by “two Gucci loving girls” in their 20’s who “take life seriously” which entails detailed involvement reading US Weekly, Star, People, and watching the latest episodes of their favorite reality television shows – America’s Next Top Model, The Pussycat Dolls, and The Hills. They don’t just read magazines and watch TV though, these girls are some serious celebrity scouts and their website is proof of that. When they don’t have time to fill your Celebrity Juice glass, they rely on their ghostwriter, little Bailey who has to be the cutest doe-eyed Chihuahua I have seen yet.

Recent posts offer up to the minute information on “Nick Lachey and Vanessa @ Derby Gala!!”, “Guess Who’s Hair is blowing in their face” a post where you have to guess the hidden celebrity, “Brad and Angelina split up” (one I am myself still curious about), “Shrek the Third LA Premiere”, “Paris Hilton…in the CLINK”, and “Justin Timberlake and Paris Hilton Duet” just to name a few of the eye-catchers you will see upon opening the site. The site also comes with the disclaimer that nothing there is fact, and at best, is gossip, rumor, and speculation. It should also come with a second disclaimer that “reader’s discretion is advised” due to the nature of hollywood lifestyles; especially when quoting some celebrities.

Navigation on this site is extremely straightforward. The posts run down the center of the opening page and there are both a left sided and right sided navigation bars. On the left read about the girls, have a look at the cute little Bailey, and then you can follow a link of any celebrity information you can think of. If there has been a name mentioned on any site, show, magazine, or news piece in the last year, that name is included in this list. There is a different flavor of juice for every fan’s glass here. On the right sided bar, you can grab a quick link for any of the recent posts, subscribe to the feeds, and use a Google Search bar. There is also some contact information here for both of the owners.

This site is starting off very well considering it has only been around since March of this year. Because of this I am going to give it a 4.2 because it has yet to prove itself over the long run. Can Heidi and Niki keep up this pace of posting? I’d also like to suggest a few changes while they are working on getting themselves off the ground. For appearance and content the blog scores extremely well, you almost can’t tell it is even a blog. The writing is very creative and very well written which lends to some good uniquene points and original content. The updates are outstanding as well. The site was updated twice in the process of my review. This may be leading to some of the clogging on the site as some days have as many as 3 and 4 entries. I would suggest limiting some of these to 1, 2 or 3 and spreading out the not so important posts so that there is a steady daily flow. Some glitches on site are that currently neither of the subscription or feeds links are working, and the google bar needs some re-formatting. This is distracting from the professional appeal of the site. The AdSense is incorporated well however, so well in fact that I had to look for it!! That’s a first! I would suggest a few more AdSense bars formatted just as similarly if the girls are hoping to monetize the site. The site is young which explains the lack of readership and lack of comments, however starting off early with a review may be just what they need to get some subscriptions going. With these few simple changes, I think this site could well become a favorite drink of celebrity fans worldwide. It is starting off very well already for its youthfulness and doesn’t seem to be slowing down in the slightest!

Cigarettes and Coffee – Mis-Adventures of a Birthmother in Open Adoption – Blog Review

When looking through the parenting blogs, I stumbled across one of extraordinary uniqueness. Seeing Barb’s “Cigarette’s and Coffee” reminded me of an angst ridden song where the mainstays were caffeine and nicotine. For the life of me, I can not recall what song that is, but I do know the emotion behind the song is about angst and the pain’s of day to day life. So appropriate then a title for Barb’s blog which is about the adventures of a birth mother in open adoption. While the posts are not all that regular, her most recent ones include “the dangling conversation” which is a relation of a conversation had with her husband on the “when” they will start the trying to conceive process. Other posts include “sing a long” and then a small tribute to a personal favorite of mine, “GPS and Nick Drake”. The purpose behind the blog is to serve as an outlet for Barb and her quest for motherhood, and given by the regular amount of comments she receives on it, she has a tremendous support group that is sharing her pain and using the blog to Barb’s intended purpose.

Navigation on this site is very straightforward. The opening page is standard blog format with the most recent posts listed from most current and on. The layout is a black background with white text and the posts appear on the right side of the site. On the left you will find a picture of Barb and her profile and contact information as well as a list of her favorite links. These include “33 Writes 25”, “Color”, “Great Dorito Analogy”, “He Tells Me a Joke” and many other eclectic all about something blogs. You can also subscribe to her blog and view other blogging birthmothers in the blog ring she has on her site.

This blog scores an overall 2.8 from me and with a little work this could become an outstanding representation of a young woman’s plight to motherhood. I find the white text/black background very difficult to read and think some softer colors may make this a little easier on the eyes. While I get the need for a black undertone in this blog, I think the same effect could be created in a different manner. I also find the posts extremely sporadic with only 3 posts being entered for the month of April. I would like to see some more pictures on the site, and some additions to the right sided navigation bar as there is a bit of empty space underneath the standard blog links on the right sided bar. Barb clearly has a devoted following to her blog and I think some advertising may monetize it a little bit for her at the same time. Content however scores above average, as Barb’s writing is outstanding. I think anyone reading this would literally feel her pain as she so relates it in writing just beautifully
