Job Tuition – Job Advice and Employment Blog – Bloggeries Review

If you are looking for a job, or maybe considering a switch, then perhaps you should take a minute to check out Job Tuition – Job Advice. This site is your guide to getting your dream job. You will find a great deal of information here on how to apply to jobs, interview questions, and how to develop your skills and market yourself in the employment world. You can also get handy advice on how to write a winning cover letter, build your resume, address job specifications, and respond to key criteria. You will find out how to get that job, as well as how to keep it as this blog offers a lot of answers to those questions on how to be politically correct in those awkward work situations. Recent posts will catch your eye and include “How to Gracefully Quit a Job”, “9 Reasons your Resume is Trash”, “Enhance your Career this Summer”, “3 Easy Ways to Network with Co-Workers”, Should take a Prep Class for Standardized Tests?”, “Give a Compliment, Start a Relationship, Land a Job”, “6 Tips for Filling out Job Applications”, “Promote your Personal Brand to Enhance your Career”, “How to Communicate with your Boss”, and “Etiquette for a Work or Interview Meal”.

Navigation on this site is fairly straightforward. The site is black text on white background with aqua blue border and the same blue to make the headlines stand out. The posts are left-marginalized down the page, and there is a wide right navigation bar that appears to be divided into two columns. The far column is used for widgets and advertising space, and the inside column is used for the categories, recent posts, and sponsored links. The job seeker can look at a wide number of categories for job specific posts such as applications, careers, CV/Resume, Education, Hints and Tips, Interviews, Social Networking, and Working Abroad.

I am going with a 3 for this one. There was something missing, and it took me a while to figure out that it was that bloggy personal voice that to me is the most enjoyed experience in any blog. This blog seemed like just another job searchers site, and while it did provide valuable information, it does not set itself apart from others in the same category. I think some pictures would be appropriate, and I would like to see more content here as the most recent post is over a week ago and activity is sparse. If the writer is not sure of content, perhaps some personal experiences or stories would add to the blog. Right now it just needs a little bit of pop to make it stand out.
