New MMO blog

A friend and I are starting a new blog about MMOs. We're aware that this is a huge niche to try to break into, but we're planning to position our blog as an MMO experience blog, rather than an MMO news blog (which seems to be all the big players). We're hoping this different slant will give us a chance to stand out a little bit against the major news services out there.

Can you suggest any other ways to stand out?

I would suggest telling friends and getting AdWords when people are viewing MMO games.

You might get further by explaining what MMO means. Yeah, some people might know, but it never hurts to make it easier for people to answer your questions.

I love MMORPG's! I'd totally follow your blog if you made one.

Maybe do videos with audio commentary while you're playing MMO's? Write witty articles or comics about your experiences on different games?
Or once you get a bigger viewer base, maybe host contests on popular MMO games so your readers have more incentive to stay?
