The only way people are going to write for "free" for your blog is if you offer them either a salary or a link back to their website... and on a new blog links aren't going to gain them many visitors so there is not much point in them writing free posts for you. To be fair although you may have good intentions it seems to me (and many others) that you just want to use others to write a blog for you. Plus if you are not fussed about the writing level your blog will not appeal to the mass market as most people will not spend the time trying to work out what you mean if it is poorly written they will just look for another source of information...
