Created my blog need some help

Hello i have created a blog which is about video game reviews, or at least those games that i have played and well review them, its also about toy collectibles reviews such like (beyblades,battle strikes) and happenings in my neck of the city.


I was wondering about the colour and themes of my blog, right now my blog is in black, and the text is in grey or white, i was wondering what are the better ways of doing it, that way.

The readers wont have a hard time for there eyes?

You're going to want to use some brighter, or at least vibrant/prominent, colors. You're going to be marketing to the youthful population, especially with the toy reviews, and I promise they don't want to see a neutral colored site.

What I like to do to get ideas and inspiration is to look at other templates in my field/niche/category. Check out

That is a template website search filtered to game templates. You will see that some backgrounds are dark: that is fine as they still use colors elsewhere, but I know the majority of people appreciate lighter templates.

I do find however that dark grays and brighter colors create awesome contrast if done correctly.

Well templates are nice only a little problem

I'm really sorry but if you need specific help with YOUR blog that's why we have a forum called "show off your blog". You have to have 15 posts to start a thread there. Generally it's good to give a little before expecting to get.
