Post Any good site for synonyms?

Is there any website which shows synonyms of different words if i want to rewrite an article?

I had googled and found articlequeen.com. I want to see if there is any other such site better than this.

I tend to use books instead, even though they aren't free and some consider them more of a hassle.

I have Random House's Word Menu and Roget's 21st Century Thesaurus. I highly recommend them.

Try the ~ tilde character (tutorial) in Google search.

Also Google Sets,WordNet lexicon tool and Lexical FreeNet (shows relationships)

But here's a real fancy graphical synonym and dictionary - Visuwords - from Princeton university. Pretty cool if a little "scattered".

In addition to having real books near my desk (i.e. - a dictionary and thesaurus), word processors like Word and WordPerfect have these resources built-in too.

If you want a website, thesaurus.com and dictionary.com are big and well-known.

Use the synonyms option when you right click in Microsoft word?

Microsoft Word > Right click is one of the best options available.

I say, don't do it. Those synonym-salad articles are nearly always very obvious, and very bad reading.

Write good, fresh, original material.
