Advice on overall upgrades?

I just started a blog and I was wondering what you guys think of it, as experienced bloggers. I'd really like to know what you would do differently as far as content en design. Don't hold back; I'm here to learn, so I want to hear it all. Anyway, check it out at:

This is exactly what the Show Off Your Blog section is for. Once you reach 15 posts, you'll be able to post there and get people's input about your site.

^ It's there, but you'll need 15 posts in order to be able to post your own blog there, so keep posting for a bit longer. Go introduce yourself if you haven't already or ask any lingering blog questions you might have that don't require people to see your actual site yet.
