Default Help me write better reviews

I have just started writing reviews (and doing giveaways) on my blog. I would love some tips on writing better reviews.

Jessica Loves to Save Money: reviews

I only have 2 reviews released so far (I have 4 more coming up)- but I can all the tips you can give!

Also, if you have any advice about GETTING reviews or giveaways, I would love to hear about that too!

Thanks!

I had a quick read through the reviews you have done so far, they seem to be pretty thorough. I wasn't, however, aware of any link between each of the products you tested.

To improve the quality of your reviews maybe you should be more consistent with the type of products you select; i.e. develop a bit more of a niche. I realise you already have that with the saving money angle, but hundreds of review pages already exist, some of them with millions of members, and these would be most people's port of call if they were looking for general product ranges.

I think the idiosyncratic style you have works, but maybe keeping the products you review to, say, children's books would have far more of an impact than going across the board.
