Of Naturally, a web log post which contains 1,000 words does not mean it is of a high quality either. However, some individuals only mail twice a month, but their mails contain 1,000 words or more because that is what their referees expect.

My posts are typically between 600 and 1200 words. I try to break up the longer posts with bullet points though, that way the reader can skim through if they want.
