Grammar is really important to me.. I think that grammar/spelling errors make one's site seem less legit. I know that not everyone cares as much as I do, but that's me.

It depends on how bad the grammar is. If I am frequently finding myself having to stop and begin a sentence again to understand what you have written, then yes it matters. I may not come back. If it is an occasional error or simple punctuation errors then I could care less.

I can tell in the sentence construction that, for some, English is not their first language. So I understand and I keep reading.

Yes, I care because it looks unprofessional there is no reason to have misspelled words these days especially with spell check, and without correct grammar words just run together. Who wants to read something like that?

I do care but my apologies to those who really care more if sometimes I make mistakes since English is not my first language.

It is a big issue for me if the writer is used to English or lives in an English-speaking country who still makes lot of mistakes not just in grammar..even in spelling.
