Yes. I care a lot. I recognize that for what I'm attempting to do with my blog it is significant. I think for most blogs that are trying to appear in anyway professional, effective grammar is must.

hmmmm, grammar is somehow important if someone decided to convert your article in his language. It makes it more accurate when translating, although not 100% even if you don't have errors.

I've long considered myself as Grammar Nazi, as well as a member of the Spelling Schutzstaffel. I forbid myself from committing crimes against grammar in any shape or form.

I think it depends, for some people English may not be there mother language or simply they may be trying to improve and lack certain skills which they make up for somewhere else, i.e in the content or meaning of the post. What attracts me is content rather than well written English, maybe it’s because my English used to be awful, everyone learns over time and develops, that’s what blogs and forums are for? So id give benefit of the doubt and try to understand, at least if it is a topic I am interested in, it really depends what im looking for. But in all honesty maybe thats because my written English used to be terrible, maybe it still is dont know but I can relate in some ways. |
