Where is the inspiration?

My blog is about a game. So to get ideas of what to write on my blog, i sit down and play the game until im happy :P

I'm still starting it up, but my blog is about domestic policy and politics. I go to news sites to find ideas and read other news blogs. However, the news blogs/commentary are often by talking head types and I'm trying to get away from that. My site is called notapundit.com.

Keep some kind of file, whether it's on scraps of paper in an envelope or on your computer. Slow news days happen, either in politics or anything else. You need to pull from your file when that happens.

when you blog you dont prepare for it.i mean you dont search for a topic and blog instead you just put whatever comes into your mind. feel this blogging site is like your friend and share everything with your friend. when you are with a friend you dont need inspiration

Try to travel somewhere, bring along your favorite books, and write any interesting impression in your log book. But usually my main source of inspiration is my girlfriend

My post ideas usually come from interaction with people. Almost all of my posts start out as a one sentence idea and my mind kind of runs with it from there.

If you're having problems coming up with ideas just start writing about anything just for yourself. Don't post it, just open up a word document and write about your day, as boring as that may seem. The more you write the more you stumble upon ideas for actual good content.
