One thing someone told me once, is that if I have spent time looking for "x" online and couldn't find the info, I should write a post about it... It is rare for me to have those moments where I can actually contribute something unusual or not covered in the world wide web, but the times that I do (edible dirt recipe), I get traffic from it!

With little or no knowledge of blogging I incorporated my name in to my blog address, as in dannysquaintireland.blogspot.com. A couple of years on, and on reflection; was this a mistake or does it matter- is it the title and subject matter alone that draws the crowd? |

I keep a notebook as well to jot down ideas for my blog, mind you I write a personal blog so there is always something to write about. I have even been known to write posts about how I cant think of anyting to write about. Hey it worked |

I think by being active via Twitter and Forums and talking to other bloggers you get so many ideas. It's strange but sometimes I can write a great article in 20 minutes without even needing to edit it. Other times I sit around wanting to write but I don't know what I should write about. I think your best articles are those which you simply write in 10-20 minutes. At least that's my experience.
