Moving from WordPress.com to self-hosted

I have 2 blogs running on word press, and I purchased 2 domain names which are currently on my personal Website, How do I connect or direct the 2 blogs I have on wordpress to my Domain names I just purchased?

I'm not sure I understand exactly what you are trying to do - do you mean you have a blog set up at xxxx.wordpress.com and want to transfer it to www (dot) yournewdomainname (dot) com?

Exactly! I was told this is better than leaving it on wordpress, is this true? If so can you help me understand? Thanks!!!!

I'm unable to post a direct link to resources as my post count isn't high enough, however if you google "move blog from wordpress.com to wordpress.org" there are some good instructions on how to do this out there.

Simply put, you need to export your posts from your wordpress.com account, install wordpress at your hosting account, configure and point your domain there, then import your posts to the new blog you have created.

I just recently did it, so besides exporting your posts and comments there are following issues:
1. Wordpress template. Even you will find the template with same name and install it, I didn't get it work similar way.
2. Export all media separatly
3. Downloading and configuring toolbar widgets

and then you have links and SEO rank problem because old links are for your wordpress.com blog. So you start to build your links again and it takes months before Google will upgrade your page rank and starts to send visitors.
