 Blog Forum - 20,000 post Landmark
This is huge. I really had no idea when this blog forum would reach 20,000 posts. Huge heartfelt thanks to everyone who has contributed. Next milestone is obviously 25,000 then ... The big jump to 50,000! Either way thanks for everyone who has used and enjoyed this forum. This project is a labor of love for me and I love working on it so seeing other people participate and contribute is just an awesome feeling. Also huge thanks to PaulR - arguably the world's best moderator!

Hmm, won't we like need more members? 2000+, not everyone is active, ideally all threads in 'Show off your blog' should always be updated and read and given feedback, especially when there are new blog updates... err open up a thread to think of a way to promote the forum further, eh? hehe, congrats Rob!

Thanks everyone, Bobby; Nope not everyone is active but that's a part of life running a forum. To get to next goals it will either take a long time or many more members will join and it will take less. Either way these types of things are like a snowball; the HARDEST part is getting it rolling initially; then it begins to take a life of it's own. Trust me the first few months were SLOW! Didn't really start this to further promote it. It's just a big landmark; if you can reach 20,000 ... Why not 100,000 type deal. Many forums fizzle before 5,000 let alone 10,000 or 20,000. This is basically my "go-to" now for any blog related questions. It's good to know that if *I* can't solve it... Someone who comes here regularly can definitely give some great insight into it.

What's crazy is: http://www.bloggeries.com/forum/blog...-landmark.html That took ~1 year from the day this thing opened. This time it took only 3 months for 10,000 posts. Crazy how things work.
