I wanted to post two blogs I made for input on show off your blog, but it said I didn't have privileges - why?

I have now put up 16 posts and can not show off my own blog. This rule I have to say is infuriating. People only come on this site for three reasons, to see others blogs, learn about them and to advertise their own blog.
