Another thing: Google frowns on affiliates telling others what they are making, so that may be why you don't get a lot of "I make so-and-so amount" answers. Also, with a new blog running Google ads, you need to have a lot more than just the ads going on. It helps to have a lot of new copy and make at least two new postings a week. Some people love to post every day! |

So is it worth it to add that Adsense or something else is better?

(Odd, the the ordered list above doesn't work. The smileys don't either) anyhow. 1: Lots of websites, 50 or more. The problem here is "How Do Visitors find you?" 2: Mega visitors to your perfect SEO site. Adsense is ok for making penny size pay checks. I get a $100 every couple of months. There was a time that you could actually make a fair amount. Those days are gone. Here's the other down-side to using Adsense. When your visitor clicks the Adsense ad they are gone. You pick up a nickle but you lose a much bigger commission from the affiliate program you are actually promoting. Google cracks down on anything they think is suspicious. Right or wrong it really doesn't matter. They own the gold mine. Good luck RT... |

Adsense is getting harder and harder to make money from as clicks values get lower and lower as more people join wanting to make millions ![]() Best way is a mix of Affiliate Marketing links/adds and keep the banners down to a minimum. |

Or three set ups for adsense...The other way, and what I have found, is not only dozens of sites, or plenty of visitors, but going wide - i.e. building up an authoritative site. I made a content heavy directory, and most visitors are targeted, and convert. Also I notice, my cpc's are higher than a few months back. I think this means advertisers are bidding more to place their ads. Yet another blog I made got buried in the serps from the may day update - mainly content was too generic and thin. No real value, and I learnt from that. So reworked content, now seeing low to mid cpc conversions.

| I agree with everyone here, everyone differs. I earn fine with one blog though, a month adsense covers 2 years hosting cost. But with the affiliate marketing we can earn more. |
