Hey guys.
Thiught I wanted to start a discussion on how bloggers earn money.
Simple ain't it - they place ads on their blogs.
But well, I do not know how to maximize the ads to my advantage, and make an income from it.
Anybody got a smart idea that can help me?

*P.S.- Is it true that bloggers have a code of ethic that whenever they go to another bloggers site, they click the ads to help generate income?

on my blog sites CPA ads and clickbank ads don't generate much income - but adsense does

adsense just requires well SEO'd theme, good quality on-page content targeting high bid price search phrases, and of course sufficient traffic from google's search results pages

my adsense eCPM averages about $24

compare that with selling banner space at $3 a thousand impressions

so, what I'm saying is you have to work smart to make money from ads

google adsense don't generate much. even amazon affiliates doesn't.
for me, the most rewarding thing online is swagbucks. it's not really related to blogging but it's better than relying on ads.

Don't the position of the ads matter aswell on your blog? Apparently the positions that you put your ads can affect the number of clicks each ad gets.

You can earn a lot with ads if you have a lot of traffic. So it doesn't matter what kind of ads you have like clickbank etc. Traffic that make you money.
