Default The Effectiveness of Paid Directory Submissions

Hi there, I have a question which pertains to paid blog directory submissions. Do paid directory submissions really work? Well, I know Bloggeries has its own submission system, but my question is more of a general kind. Has anyone tried such paid services and is there a noticeable rise in traffic?

To be honest, it really depends on the ranking of the submission directory. You can pay $50 bucks to get into a paid submission directory with a PR2. However you can pay $0 to get into a free submission directory with a PR4.

My advice keep searching, I wouldn't bother with them right now.

Emmm... hard to tell)) There are softwares that are praised like Bookmarking demons (very costly), but I think it is still better to do it manually through easysubmits.com

I haven't ever done a paid directory listing. In fact I don't even do unpaid listings anymore. They simply aren't worth the time.

A long time ago I paid for directory submissions for a business I had (that failed miserably).

It cost me $50, guaranteed to bring something like 10,000 visitors to my site or something of that nature, and promised to submit my site and get it ranked within the top 10 of so many directories...

Needless to say, I was ripped off. My website wasn't submitted into any directories and my traffic stayed the same.

It seems easy enough to do it yourself
