Ok, call me crazy but I want to give all of you a Free Blog Directory Listing here at Bloggeries.

Here's the "scoop" - Please read this entire post first it answers almost all questions.

Add the above code on your sidebar then submit your blog; then post in this thread saying "Hey I submitted; now add me to the directory free" and then put a link in this thread to your blog.

If you don't like the little image that comes default substitute the "9" in blogbutton9.gif for anything from 1-10. We have ALL KINDS of colors. I'm talking pink; green; blue; red; maroon and variations.

Example: If you substitute the "8" aka blogbutton8.gif in the above code for a you get:



Sub it for a 6 aka blogbutton6.gif and you get:



Let's say you hate these little chicklets but still want to participate?

Link to our main page as "Bloggeries" " Bloggeries Blog Directory" - "Bloggeries Directory" - whatever!!


Why am I doing this suddenly!?!?

Bloggeries is a paid directory b/c I just don't have time to sort through hundreds of blogs like the rest of the directories out there do. I also want quality listings not trash. Also lots of the blogs on these directories are filled with duplicate content which gives the listings 0 value! Duplicate content is basically using the same description EVERYWHERE to describe your blog.

Without members such as yourself on this forum; this place would be a ghost-town spam central like 99.99% of the rest of the blog forums out there. This place is special because of YOU and I want to say "THANKS"!

All listings 2500+ on bloggeries are 100% spam free and original descriptions making them a unique entry into the engines.

Do me a favor ok? When you submit your blog:

- If your blog is rarely updated, full of adsense and just a generally spammy blog... Please don't bother submitting.

A) Make your title the NAME of your blog; not a keyword rich description; that's spammy and tacky.

B) Write an ORIGINAL description just wing it. Trust me I'll check; if you didn't I'll re-write it but I won't be thrilled and it wont' be exactly what you want so just do it right from the start...

C) There is room for 3 URL's + 3 Titles; link to whatever pages you want inside your blog. Must be same domain.

D) Add your RSS feed. Your feedburner or just the feed in RSS format. If you add an ATOM feed it won't work. Don't ask me why.

So what's the catch Rob!?!?!

There is NO CATCH only you need to of made your 15 posts so you can post a link. If you can't make your 15 posts to particpate in this then sorry.

If you are already in the directory no you don't but if you want to let your readers know we exist via a chicklet then please do!

Hi Jimboz,

You have 2 posts. You may have signed up near the beginning but you haven't "been with us" since the beginning.

Do what you feel is right; if you don't want to make 15 posts that's cool though. Heck you did signup in 2007.

The 15 posts is in effect to to reward members who actually help contribute here.

If I did not implement a rule like this when I did this place would just be filled with spammers. Not allowing live links until 15 or 30 or 50 posts is common practice to avoid spam and link droppers with no intention on contributing.

It is a paid directory but through this promotion outlined in this thread it is free for those who follow the instructions.

Just submit. Once you hit "submit" it will send it through and I will approve since you followed the instructions in this thread.
