Theme Tweak

Hopefully this is the correct location for this post, I like my theme for the Art Blog, I've done some tweaking to the layout, but still at times on various machines, things don't line up correctly.. Is that a resolution setting issue?

Do people who write the themes tweak them for others at a price? If so, anyone that would be interested let me know. I would like to make sure things stay where they are..add some items to the left side bar..

It could be a resolution issue, or a browser compatibility issue. For example, my blog's theme looks great in Firefox, but in some versions of IE some of the elements are off just a bit.

I'd vote for browser compatibility as the most likely culprit. I'm no good at tracking that sort of thing down, though, or I'd have managed to fix my own theme by now. ;-)

I know just enough to be dangerous.. we did have this discussion one day when the main page of bloggeries was missing until I scrolled to the bottom. I figured it was as much an issue with resolution too.

If anyone is interested in tweaking the sidebar.php so I can add things to the left.. pm me.. I am willing to pay..not looking for handouts.

Glad you posted it. I decided to move the theme discussion to blogging basics as no one was visiting it in the other section. That being said maybe this section should just go back to being integrated with blogging basics? hmmm
