I use it for a quick view of my stats. For my month to month tracking and SEO, I use analytics.

Are you talking about this plugin? WordPress › WordPress.com Stats « WordPress Plugins

I've tried it once briefly, but took it off for some reason (can't remember why now). What's nice about it is that it doesn't cause extra load on your server since it's hooked into WordPress.com.

I would have never tried this out if Analytics had worked on my site. I use Analytics on 3 other site and think it is great. For some reason it didn't work with my 4th site so I tried this out. It does everything I need it to but would still prefer the data all in one place with analytics.

CaffinePhil, it would be interesting to know why Analytics wasn't happy on your fourth site - I've never heard of it not working on any site where the tracking code could be placed. Any chance the code got corrupted in the copy/paste, or that another piece of code higher up in the page is conflicting with it? It's hard to beat Analytics... but Performancing pMetrics is terrific for keeping a quick eye on *real time* traffic during the day, in case there's something you need to react to or deal with or capitalize on in a hurry.

I'd be very interested to know why too

The site tracks a very limited amount of visits. I asked people from here to pop over and noticed about 5 had left comments, I checked analytics a couple of days after for it to read 1 visit.

I might try removing and re-adding the code. Which file of a blog do you suggest?
