This WP plugin allows you to easily upload any type of file to your blog without using a traditional FTP client. If you aren't familiar with ftp this may be for you.

I don't see any need for a plugin of this type. If someone is that unfamiliar with uploading via ftp, then they shouldn't have a website at all.
Besides, the built in uploader of WordPress handles most files. I often upload pdf files and have no problem with it. It even gives you a nice link. I'd imagine it's the same way with other types of files (.mp3 etc.).

In fact, the one time I uploaded a pdf via ftp, I screwed it up. Well, not really, but I couldn't figure out why it wouldn't display. Turns out pdfs have to be uploaded as binary files, not ascii. Who'da thunk it.

If someone has too many unnecessary plugins, they risk having a bad one that is poorly written and draws too many resources, or conflicts with another plugin and brings their site to a halt. Been there, done that.

Anyway, just my opinion, as always. Of which I have a lot (opinions, that is! ).

The default write post form has an option to upload.How is this one different than that.
Moreover,i used a plugin called drainhole.Shortly,the blog was messed up(not due to plugin) and them i didnot installed it again.
What are your ideas about this plugin

the new wordpress coming has built in this feature.So no need to add extra.,nice plugin though
