Default Members Area for WordPress

I wanted to know if there are any plugins to block users from an area unless they either subscribe or pay to be a member. Like a members area where they can only acces certain content if they bcome a member or pay.

I want people to see most parts of the site but have this members only area as well.

Thanks so much!

Scott

It's not cheap, but it's do able.

You can use amemberpro and then integrate it with 1stshoppingcart.

There is also WordPress › Members Only « WordPress Plugins but I have never used it so I don't know if it's any good.

Best of luck

I'd seen a plugin not too long ago that forced visitors to subscribe to a list to see more than X posts, but I can't seem to find it again. If you're looking for a subscription based model (instead of a pay-based model), you might try Googling for it.
