Hey Everyone, I wanted to do a poll on our blog asking visitors what we should focus on next month (this month it was energy conservation). But, I didn't want the standard boring poll widget. I found the SodaHead plug-in for WordPress. It pretty cool (it's up on our site right now). It allows you to associate pictures with poll options, it will automatically run through a display of the pictures for the visitor. You can even very easily (if I can do it any one can since I am technology challenged ) customize the sofware to create your own backgground colour scheme. If you are looking for a non-boring poll plugin, this one might work for you. Cheers, Dan

The only disappointment I have with this Poll plugin is that the poll actually resides it seems on a different server, so when the page of the blog appeares, there is a delay in the poll itself being displayed (similar to how if you embed a video on YouTube into a WordPress Widget on your blog site, there is a similar delay within it appearing from the rest of the page's content. That's why I actually have the poll as the second item on the right column. Very nice apearance of this poll plugin vs the standard ones I think. Dan
