This is a great plugin! Meta tags don't mean much anymore, but they're still relevant enough that it's a good idea to put different ones on each page. This plugin allows that.

Google doesn't use the keywords tag anymore but Yahoo and many others still do The description tag is the important and is used by all of the search engines to the best of my knowledge. I see many people don't use meta tags and alt text tags either which all give a boost to search engine optimization.

I agree, the description tag is used by all search engines, but I haven't seen a lot of results from "optimizing" it. What I do with description tags is try to put enticing text in there to get people to click it more once it shows up in serps.

Just my 2 cents.

If you're on wordpress.com, which I believe you are, you're not allowed to use plugins, except what they provide for you.

Just another reason to host your own WordPress on your own site.
