Any terms in particular? The site description is the snippet that will show up with your site in search engine results pages. Meta keywords aren't really taken into account by any major search engines anymore. The next two fields (footer code and header code) are just giving you a place to paste any code that needs to be in particular parts of your website to function. (like web analytics tracking code) Was that what you were asking? And I definitely wouldn't suggest checking the "hide from search engines" button, but some bloggers want to keep things private.

Your footer code and header code are related to the header and footer areas on you website blog. Many people, including myself, use this area for google aalytics to help with seo reports. The header and footer aren't necessarily considered standards parts of seo such as content, keywords and line. I would recommend utilising these areas. Go to google aalytics and read about it including how to get the code
