Default I have just purchased some ad spaces!
Have I made the right descissun, I mainly wanted the ad spaces for incoming links more than traffic I have two 20x20 banners on pr5 sites and a 125x125 banner on a pr4! Will that help me or have i wasted my money haha

I suspect that you've wasted your money. Surely ads have zero input into pagerank? If you could just _pay_ for pagerank, even indirectly by buying ads, then Google would be essentially useless.

Most ads are nofollow, so the PR will not be passed to your site.

Also, once the ads expire, then what do you do?

Don't buy ads for the PR - buy them on sites where people will be interested enough to click the ads!

For an advertisement to be a dofollow link would make no sense. It would be like a politician buying an ad in a newspaper and then claiming, based on the ad, that the newspaper had chosen to endorse him.
