Title of my blog shows up whenever I keyword search my articles. What to do

Hello everyone,

I have a blog (of course) with articles that I use keywords in the title so that the search engine can find them. Well, here is the thing, and I know that this can't be normal, whenever I keyword seach my articles, when I do find them, they add the title of my blog THEN the long tail keyword.

OK, for example. Say that I have a blog about shoes called "News on Shoes" and I have a blog entry that has a long tail keyword that says "how to get great deals on shoes."

Well, when I type the long tail keyword "how to get great deals on shoes" and I find my article, it instead says "News on Shows (title of blog): How to get great deals on shoes (keyword)." I hate this and I think that this may negatively impact my SEO efforts in the future. All the other articles and blogs have just "How to get great deals on shoes" with no title included when I search pages to get to my article.

Does anyone know what I'm talking about? And if so, what can I do about it? I have a Blogger blog, by the way.

It's like this with a few of my blog entries, and that is a big deal seeing as I don't have many entries as of yet. I've tried to remove the blog title and to leave it blank, but Blogger won't let me.

I met the same situation before, so I think it has relationship with the blog theme you were using. I created a wordpress blog for my website months ago and every time when I searched articles title on Google the Blog title would show up in the front of them, for example, when I search "How to build a website" the result on SERP would be "Blog Title: How to build a website", though according to my test, it didn't influence those aritcle's rank(many ranked #1), I changed the theme and this problem fixed.
