There is a black bar under the image banner that has the button selections Home and About I would like to add some other selections such as subscription feeds and email address. Any one have any sugestions? |

Hey, You can add additional items to this bar under the Appearance > Menus section in Wordpress. Select a link, page or category and hit the "add to menu" button. Hope this helps. Thanks, Kevin |

In the meantime, go to Appearance --> Menus and you will get a section that you can use to add custom links to the nav bar. You can also add specific categories to the nav bar. You can link to your RSS feed and subscription links from this area as well. |

bkpkgene, You might be right, but after working with blogger for so long I'm just learning WP. I'm not jumping into themes to fast. I did get the favicon thing working, aparently WP for some reason trashed my old on into o byte record. I need to make a new one I guess, but for the time time being I am using an eyeball thing. The Menuing is working. I changed the default image I Think it working pretty good. I run a pure blog, an occasional image, I like the single column on the right, and the general general color scheme, So far I haven't really stumbled on another blog that uses twenty-ten, but then again I usually visit blogs that are pretty well established. If I happen to stumble across a theme that I like better I would probably upgrade. So far I haven't seen anything, but I haven't looked very hard. I don't think I'm allowed to post my urlyet, but if want to see what it looks like check out libertysblog dot com. maybe you have some ideas on a theme that will work out better. Thanks |

I'm not all that happy with the banner image and want to eventually put a collage up with different images of Galveston. My point with the twenty - Ten theme though is that although its pretty basic, it is also very flexible even for a novice. Maybe someday, I'll update the theme to something else, but for now it seems to work. |

You must be doing something right Liberty, you've got a great Page Rank of 4 - well done! I've been customising TwentyTen for a few months now, and I agree with you, it's a good theme to mess about with. I'm too new to post urls as well, but Google information junkies and you'll find one of my sites - mine has anonymous tacked on the end ![]() If you ever want a hand with your theme do give me a shout. |
