Facebook Fan Page To Grow Your Blog

I created a FB fan page and so far I think my only fans are people I know personally. I hope that changes soon.

Nothing wrong with that. It'll entice others to "like" it, too, if they see other people liking and using it. Just keep passing the word out that you have one.

I didn't make a fan page but I do have like buttons on all the articles along with tweet buttons.

You have a good point that I have pondered over and over. I also feel the same about RSS feeds. Especially if your feeds show your full page post there is no reason to even visit the website. My RSS feeds posted around the net attract a lot of traffic, but it doesnt always carry over to my website. I can tell a big difference in all of my websites traffic that were around before RSS feeds compared to now. Some of my feeds get more traffic than the primary websites.

But, on the other hand a fan page on one of the most trafficked websites on the internet can only be helpful in many ways from a common sense approach. I think I will go start mine right now.

I have yet to try creating a page for my blog. I keep meaning to do it but then decide I will do it later which never happens so may give it a go
