I want to edit the information that is within the footer on my wordpress theme, so that I can remove one link and add another (or just add one) but I cant for the life of me figure out how to do it... Does anyone know??

I haven't tried this myself, but isn't it just a matter of editing the file named footer.php? Perhaps give it a try. Back up the original file before playing with it: Do a "Save As" to save another copy and name it footer_bak1.php (or whatever). Now use any plain text editor (like Notepad) to open and edit the footer.php file. Make the changes you want and save the file. Upload the new footer.php file and check to ensure the changes are correct. If something goes wrong, you can always delete the footer.php file you just created, re-name the backup file and you are back to where you started and you can try again if you like. |
