Hi all,
My company Triggit has build a tool that lets you edit your blog thats on any platform using a WYSIWYG editor. Basically viewing your blog through your browser you can point and click to make changes to the way people see it without having to edit the underlying source code.

Would tool to create links in this fashion be useful? Or maybe in-text ads to things like the amazon affiliate program?

To make it work you'd just highlight a piece of text on your blog and click to make it a link or an in-text ad of some sort.

Right now we let you drag pictures and videos into the page WYSIWYG so that you don't need embed codes. Are there other things that might help in this fashion?

It would be nice to be able to enter a list of keyword/URL combinations and have the program remember that from post to post. Any time the keyword appears in a post, automatically make it a link to the given URL.

It could definitely help. As blogs are becoming more and more popular people of all technical experience are building blogs. Whatever makes things as easy and painless as possible will always be a good product in my mind.
