Hi guys, I'm a bit new in blog univers . I'm a webmaster so I know the domain, but I've never had to create a full customize blog since today. I don't know which blog should I use for the request I had, so I've decided to come here ask for some advice ![]() Here is what my client needs to have on its blog : - A menu with category and sub category (working with drop-down menu) - A way to have suscriber for newsletter - A way to have a private section only available with a specific password (this is very important) - An easy customizable design (I'll be the one working on the design so it doesn't matter if I have to modify HTML / CSS / PHP) - A good statistics support (don't have to be in the blog if something like google analitycs is easy to install) Do you have any idea what blog software should I use for that ? Thanks a lot for your help guys P.S. : sorry if my english isn't perfect, I'm french |

You should definitely use WordPress if you have experience in Webmastering. Blogger will frustrate you because it is not designed to be customized nearly as much as a self-hosted Wordpress installation hosted on your own server.

Yes, all you have to do is select the option to make the post password protected. It is one of WordPresses many great features. Here's one tutorial that might help you: How-to: Password-protect a post | Sephy's Platzish And here is the official explanation from WordPress: Post Visibility Support « WordPress.com
