Default Submission Form Question

Does anyone know how to add a submission form? Not a comment form but a box in the margin that people can just type information into and then click submit. Then it would just go to my e-mail? Seems like a pretty common thing but I can't figure out how to add it.

There are a couple of ways to do this the easiest is through php coding. Just make sure your host allows php coding. Basically after verification of coding search online for scripts plug these in and you should be good to go. You can also customize the forms if you understand how to code. I hope this helps

If you have selfhosted Wordpress just look up "PHP Contact Form" and it will give you everything you need.

If you use Blogger then you will have to use ZoHo form designer or something like that. I use ZoHo on my contact page, and highly recommend it as a free form service. Check it out to see if you like it.

However if you use Wordpress, then go the extra length to install a PHP plugin. It will be better in all respects.

The advantage of ZoHo is that you can design it all yourself and completely customize the form. Also you can have the system process the contacts and spit them out as a report or anything else that you want.

But yeah, come to think of it, it may be a little too advanced for most users. lol
