Every time I try and insert a picture into blogger it will only go to the top of my post. Can someone tell me how I can insert a picture where I want it part way through the post? I know I am just being really thick and its probably something dead simple but I just can't figure it out. Thanks

It'll always throw it up top as soon as you insert it. Then all you have to do is click the picture and drag it down to exactly where you want it.

You can also try clicking on it, "cutting" (by either right-clicking and selecting "cut" or just hitting Ctrl+x if you're using Windows).....and then going to the spot you want it inserted and pasting it there.

All you have to do is click on the picture, drag the mouse cursor to where you want to place the image and release. As you drag you will see a small cursor appear in the text, release it where you want the picture to be placed. For this reason if you have a large picture it helps to start dragging somewhere near the bottom of the picture so that you can see the cursor in the text better. That's probably your problem.

It's too bad there isn't an easier way to insert pictures where you want it. It gets very frustrating at times!

I agree, at some points I do encounter some pic-positioning problem within posts, however once you got the hang of it, it wasn't that hard. 1. Insert your pic first. Yes, it'll always be on the top. 2. If dragging didn't help, try copy+paste the image as suggested by Jessi. 3. If that still doesn't work properly, you need to copy+paste the image code in 'Edit HTML' instead: Image code: usually starts with <a> and ends with </a>, with the image URL in between, something like this : <a... http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_p...jpg" ..border="0" /></a> - Copy from <a... all the way till the closing /a>. Then paste to the location you desired. A little troublesome, but it always works better in 'Edit HTML'.
