5 Reasons You Should Not Use BlogSpot Commenting System!

I have used blgospot for long and one of the biggest things I hate about it is commenting system. Quite honestly, once you use WordPress commenting system, blogspot system seems like trash!
Here are 5 Reasons you should use an alternative commenting system for your blogspot blog:

1. Threaded Comments: Ever seen how convenient threaded comments on other platforms are? They make it easy to reply to specific comments.
2. People Hate Pop-ups: I have stopped commenting on blogspot blogs because I hate pop-up system. You click link and then wait for window to load. Compare this to WordPress, you enter details, hit submit and it's done! Other systems can do this!
3. Integrated Form Sucks : Yep, blogspot has introduced an integrated form solution but it has same problem that haunt most of Google services- browser incompatibility. Numerous times, I wanted to comment on a post but form never loaded well in Opera!
4. Reply Notifications: If you do not use Google Account for commenting, you will not get notified about future comments on a post. Olly solution to check out comments will be to visit page again and again! A complete time waster!
5. Your Time Is Saved: "How is that possible?", you might ask! Here's how: If you are one of those bloggers who want to add value to conversation and reply to all comments, you will have to hunt down all new comments and then reply to them since there's no comments section in blogspot admin area! Commenting systems let you reply to comments from (their) dashboard!

Bonus Reason:
Spam Protection: Unless you moderate all comments on your blog, spam can easily appear in comments. You have got no automatic way to stop it. Commenting systems like Intense Debate use Akismet to protect blog from spam.

I'm all for people using whatever commenting systems they want, but just a little note on this complaint....Blogger users 'choose' which format they want and you can embed comment forms with Blogger, too. Blogger users aren't limited to using the option that forces a pop-up window instead.
