Improve Traffic Ranking

All of us surf the internet on daily bais, however not all bloggers are aware about their visits can be turnned into 'votes' for the sites/blogs they visit.

No, there is neither magic nor I signed a contract with the devil to decieve the internet, it's very simple indeed; I meant 'Alexa Ranking'. Alexa is the company that measure all traffic ranking for whatever website on the interenet and this is useful for people who are into the advertising stuff, and I am not from them.

So it's simple: when you install Alexa toolbar on your browser, each time you visit a site is count as a 'vote' for this site. The current supported browsers are 'Firefox' and 'Internet/Windows Explorer'

Hereby, I suggest that you install Alexa Toolbar for IE or Alexa Sparky for FF. Just browse to the page bellow and it will guide you to the rest.

There's an excellent add-on called Quick Search Status, it works on calculating 'Page Rank', 'Alexa Rank', 'Compete' and 'mozRank'

All this is going to do is artificially inflate your Alexa ranking.

You aren't actually receiving more traffic, you are just rubbing your own ego and possibly tricking people into thinking you are getting more traffic than you actually are.

That said, you can definitely give your site the appearance that is has more traffic than it does by using the Alexa toolbar. What good that is going to do... not much.

I agree about the good content regardless the traffic and this is for the majority of bloggers like me, you and others.

However this is taken seriously into consideration by people who want to make advertisng and all this stuff. I am thankfuly not from them and will not be.

And this will only affect people with really poor alexa rank. You cant break into top 200,000 with these tactics. You need genuine traffic for that.

The Alexa toolbar will not increase your site traffic ranking. Instead that toolbar will increase a count to any website you visit. So more people who have Alexa toolbar installed on their browser, visit your website, your website Alexa ranking then rise. It is similar to Nielson tv rating in the past.

However, there's a Alexa box which you can put on your website to capture and display your ranking.

In the end, Alexa does not really brings traffic to your site. Rather it is used for site owner who want to show direct, prospective advertiser how busy your site is.
