Hi guys, Just wanted to ask whether there is any way to save blog posts without installing any software? I use blogspot. Also, is there any way to make an individual blog post private? Thank you in advance.

I save my posts by subscribing to my self, using rss/email. For email, my own posts get sent to my Gmail, and filtered to go into a label called my blog backup. It's the easiest I think; There is also a service blogbackuponline that may help you backup...

I don't clearly understand what do you mean by saving a post. It gets auto-saved. Besides you can explicitly click "Save Now" option. And if you mean backup use Blogger export facility to save a copy of all of your blog posts. I don't think there is any option of making a single post private in Blogger.

Yeah, you can save without publishing. It automatically saves anyway, but just "save now" and when you're ready to work with it again or publish, open up your drafts and start back right where you left off. And like others said, just export everything to an XML file to save it all in one swoop.

One of the best ways to save your blog posts is to go to the Settings tab and export your blog as XML. This will download your entire blog, including comments, and save it to your own hard drive. That way if you loose something or delete a post be accident you can restore it pretty easily.

1. Yeah, I was looking for the export function. Thanks. 2. Oh, what i want to do is to share a post with certain people only (friends from different countries) by publishing the post; but I just thought of a solution myself :P, which is to add them as authors and keep the post as a draft.
