Straight up... Bobby wins everything. WhoJaybe had 1 referral who also made 10 posts but unfortunately it's a duplicate account; I never would of noticed except the persons signature. They made 1 great post yesterday which I commented on and checked the website. Noticed the new user yesterday had the same sig. Too bad on that small technicality!

First of all, congratulations Bobby, you definitely deserve it man!

And in my defense, technically, that forum member signed up through my site from "13 forums you should join" but I never had my referral link in that post. So, I did ask if he would join again through my referral link.

I don't know if you can check the stats, click throughs from the past few days, ip addresses or whatever.

It's not a big deal but I put the referral link in that post now... I didn't think people was still checking out that post and clicking through lol!

Indeed glad no hard feelings. I recognized the signature link so I couldn't tehnically approve it. I learnt a few things...

A) I probably won't do this again and if I do I'll actually promote the contest instead of just letting it run.

B) This contest could of worked better if I had ran it differently

C) I'm still looking for ideas on how to increase the exposure of the blog forum.

Hey, definitely no hard feelings man. If you think about it, you got a true forum member from my site and I didn't even do anything lol... and they signed up because they wanted to, not because I asked them to...

But you should just have a contest and randomly pick a person who writes a post on Bloggeries forum. That way you'll get tons of bloggers exposuring your blog to their audience and you'll only need to give away one prize.

It's hard to say on forums, that's not really my expertise... but you should join in on my "Get Traffic" contest that way your site/forum gets reviewed by high traffic blogs. sorry for the shameless promotion lol...
