Bloggeries has setup an ADSENSE REVENUE SHARING modification to the forum! Bloggeries is the only blog forum we are aware of that gives its members a slice of the pie ![]() Whenever you START A THREAD your adsense ID will be used in the ads at the bottom of the first post 50% of the time. The other 50% of the time it will be our adsense id. You only need to have a minimum of 25 posts to participate. Once you reach the required posts the ads will start showing on all future threads and all threads created in the past. This way you can earn 50% of the ad money generated from the threads you create. To install your ID simply Edit Your Profile in the User Control Panel and add your PUB-16digit code into the field. You may want to also start a channel so you know how much you are making here. For futher details please visit our revenue sharing frequently asked questions I'm doing this because before I started this blog forum I was always an active forum member. Sometimes the owners didn't appreciate there members and it annoyed me. I appreciate all the members here and as a forum goer first and foremost I think it is the fair / fun thing to do. Hopefully my actions speak for themself. If you have a question you think others may have as well please by all means start a thread ![]() Best Regards, Rob

That's great news Rob, that's great incentive for members to post more often and attract a lot of new members. I'll be taking advantage of this once I hit 25 posts. Hope you have a lot of success with it. |

Thanks for the positive feedback, hopefully it works out well for everyone. Whenever you can't find an answer online now it pays to start a thread! You'll get your answer and maybe even make some $; especially if it's a common problem. Rob

This is indeed a wonderful idea, but would this encourage members to start a thread unnecessarily? I am a member of another forum-like community where members who start a thread are automatically given 3 points, and if they respond to any existing discussion, they get 1 point. I'm not so sure what those points are for (I think they're still working at it) but at least the "system" recognizes people who are active, instead of people who are "active starting new threads". Plus, they do have people who carefully monitor and manually remove duplicate or similar threads and threads that are started with the sole reason for promoting one's blog (but of course you can exclude posts in the "Show Off My Blog" forum because that's the sole reason behind it). Just my contribution though =)

Hi Pelf, Thanks for your comments. I've been on forums like this before as well and if you start useless threads with little response you won't make any money from the program. The key is starting good threads that will encourage people to participate. Another good method is to start threads that are to legitimate problems and make it keyword rich. That way people coming through search engines will find it and are more inclined to click on an ad anyways as most members don't click on ads because eventually you just become blind to them. I will be keeping a mindful eye for totally useless dupliate threads but as mentioned earlier since they will get few clicks it quickly loses it's appeal. Basically if you have a good question or discussion start it; you will get your answers and it will hopefully pay off ![]() Thanks for your thoughts, Rob Quote:

We will have a few people running roit but i guess for now the Admins can take care of it. But every forum will have a few good people, so it works out fine for rewarding those menbers.

We also have a reputation system on this board. I"m going to be looking to install other cool features too like better emotions and whatnot as well. There is always room for abuse but mindful moderation will prevent that in most cases ![]() Rob |
