Bloggeries Forum Rules

1. No spam. If you advertise on your first post or you post any blatant spam, your posts will be removed. Repeat offenders will be banned.

2. No fake signatures. Several features are disabled until you reach 15 posts, including the ability to add a signature. It is not acceptable to manually type a signature at the bottom of your posts in order to bypass this restriction.

3. No blog links or post links are allowed except in Show Off Your Blog, or in your signature. However, it is OK to link if someone asks a question and you reply to say that you wrote about this on your blog.

4. Only one username per member. If we find you have registered more than one username you may end up with both names being banned. Don't do it!

5. Social media exchanges are not allowed. This includes but is not limited to: trading/giving away Stumbles, Diggs etc.

6. Link exchanges are not allowed. If you wish to run a link exchange, please do so on your blog, and do not post the link at Bloggeries.

This FAQ has been added to answer some of the most common questions we received at Bloggeries Blog Forum. If your question is not answered here please start a new topic in this forum.

Why can't I post in all the forums?
New members are restricted in where they can post. This is to prevent spam. Once you have enough posts you will be able to post in all of the forums except the ones marked as read-only.

Why was my post moved?
We try and keep things organised by moving threads into the most appropriate forum. SEO-related posts go in the SEO forum; anything to do with WordPress goes in the WordPress forum; Blogger posts go in the Blogger forum. There is some crossover between some of the other forums, but in most cases it should be relatively easy to determine where a thread should go. If you're not sure, you can ask us in Talk to Bloggeries, or just post in Blogging Basics (if it's to do with blogging) and we'll move it if necessary. But please do try and post in the right place - it makes life easier for everyone.

Why can't I add a signature?
This is another restriction for new members. Once you have enough posts you will be able to add a signature.

How many posts do I need before I can do these things?
At this time you need 15 posts.

Once I have 15 posts, how do I add a signature?

I have 15 posts but I can't add a signature, why not?
Please wait a few hours for the system to update, it does not happen immediately.

Why has my post count decreased?
Some of your posts may have been removed. We recently removed some forums and if you mainly posted in those forums you may notice a decrease in your post count. We also remove spam posts, if you replied in a spam thread (or if you posted spam yourself - don't do it!) the posts will be removed.
