Have you guys heard of Home | 12seconds.tv (alpha) Over the weekend I got an invite to join. It's kind of like Twitter, but with video. You have 12 seconds to record a video update to post to your feed for everyone who follows you to see! You can even intertwine it with Twitter so that when you have an update it will send a tweet to everyone on Twitter with a link to your video update. Anyway, the site's still in testing, so it's by invite only. I have 10 invites to give away, so if you're interested, head over to my Sadie's Skinny blog and under the post about the holidays, post a comment telling me you're interested. The first 10 will get an invite (cause I only get 10). I'm doing it this way because this is how I got invited and I wanted to keep it fair...

So what do you guys think about the site? I think it's pretty neat! You can also send updates from your cell phone, which will be fun for me because I see things when I'm out a lot. Guess I'll have to up my text messaging plan...

I took the invite. Woohoo. I have some cool short vids I want to share; would have more but I think I lost most of my videos when I reformatted this weekend. (Single tear).

I have a great one from Vegas with Barry Mannilo lol exactly 12 seconds. I will put it up when I'm back from Thanksgiving.

I'm going to be playing with getting videos from my cell phone over the holiday. My webcam is totally NOT flattering... lol I guess on your cell you have to cut off at 12 seconds yourself? I'll play with it.

The cell phone will probably have worse quality than the webcam, I'll have to check out your channel after you get some video up.

Haha - true, but with a cell phone I can point the camera at something other than myself!

I have a bunch of vids I'm going to post when I get back home or at least I plan to. I like the concept and yes simple webcam vids of us talking aren't as "fun" or flattering!!

haha - the stupid thing about my webcam that I hate, though, is that it's fixed into my laptop so I can't move it. Can't wait to see you're new videos Rob.
