It can give advantages for our site, more visitor, more readers. And more traffic, it's useful for our rank in google or alexa. Digg requires a lot of effort to get the pays off. Individual submissions work better

I find it humorous to see this thread about Digg being a great source of traffic when the common attitude of experienced bloggers is that Digg is a bad source of traffic.

You only get good results if you make the first page and that is just about impossible these days.

agreed - especially after we've been talking about it in other threads lately... I've stopped using Digg altogether.

I still use Digg for the backlinks and minor traffic, but I have a feeling my days are numbered there.

I never really got into Digg - I just didn't understand the system. I'm giving it a try now, though, after speaking to a few so-called power diggers about how it works and how to get going. It may not amount to anything, but it doesn't take a lot of time and I do get to read some interesting stuff that I probably wouldn't otherwise see.
