Entrecard - is their traffic really any good?

I mean, it just seems like most of the traffic Entrecard generates will only stay long enough to find and click on the Drop button! I guess there's a chance that they may find something they like and stay longer... What's your experience/opinion - Is traffic generated by Entrecard really any good?

Well entrecard seems works for me to get mare readers to come to my site, it's naturally when someone interested to your blogs they will commented and read it , and it's really help bloggers to get to know others blogs

It increases your traffic, but it's only a portion of that traffic that will stop and comment. It's like any other traffic system in that respect.

That said, most of my commenters are from entrecard.

I used Entrecard a little while back, but now I have no use for it. I think that they are past their prime. I guess it all depends on the blog though and how you use it.

My blog does not use Entrecard.

Entrecard makes your URL to be known, but generally only few entrecard droppers read other people's blog

Absolutely agree with IronBlogger on this - it depends on the blog and how you use it. When I was on Entrecard, I did get a little bit more traffic but it didn't translate into very many new subscribers, and the time-on-site dropped way down, bounce rate went up through the roof. So, for me, it was not "quality" traffic and I ended up dropping the program. The best thing about Entrecard, actually, was that I did discover a couple of really interesting blogs while making the card-dropping rounds, and some of those bloggers are people I now follow on Twitter and otherwise keep in contact with... so I guess it all depends on how you look at the benefits!

Even using Entrecard I have gotten my bounce rate below 75% which to me is pretty good.

That is fairly good. My bounce Rate after about 1 month was 52%. I feel that if I used Entrecard maybe it will get higher. I'm trying to keep it as low as possible.

Last time I checked their compete.com score it as almost a million. I'm considering going back to see what's happening again. When I first joined it was great then died out but looks like it's revived. Not sure; would be cool to hear from someone active in the community.

Entrecard works well for some blogs, but not as well for others. It only works when you put the time into it, so it's good for those just starting out but it's a high-maintenance form of promotion.
