Here is a link to a Wiki project experiment to see how long it will take to collect up one million blogs.

The project was started April 10 2008

I happened to find it and thought it would be cool to share.

Get yours on the list before it is too late. Currently it is at # 292 and growing quickly at over 50 blogs a day.

What about Technorati - it already has millions listed or am I missing the point of this wiki list?

It's kinda gimmicky but also kinda cool. I think the best part is advertising on the side. The problem is if you accept ANY BLOG it will just be a link farm. I have to reject blogs everyday and refund people because there blog isn't ready. A directory is only useful if the sites within it are useful. It's a tall order so growing too fast might be a bad idea. Maybe put some guidelines.

I think Kathie brought up some good points I hadn't really thought of.

I went ahead and added mine anyway. It does kind of concern me, but it's also really interesting because of how it's set up as a wiki. Thanks for the link...I hope I don't forget about this because I'd like to check back later.

Yeah, it seems a bit unnecessary, but it won't kill anybody to add their name to the list.

Thanks for the link, hopefully it might create some traffic, the link has been stumbled and has 90+ diggs so who knows, added mine and I think its up to 888 now.
