New Entrecard Rejection Feature

The new rejection feature on entrecard is really nice. It sort of hovers above and remembers what you did the last time as it assumes you'd likely do it again. Not that I like rejecting blogs but if you don't it's just a first come first serve...

Anyone else notice this upgrade?

That being said I have a bunch of slots available for forum members.

Yes, I certainly like it. So many posts I would accept just because I didn't feel like going to to trouble of getting rid of them...

I've been rejecting people (will be dropping the widget) but the same ones keep coming back, even when I've given them a reason. Gaah!

I'm with Jason. I reject with reasons and I either get a nasty message back or a reapplication. You should have a feature where you can only apply based on category.

I'm seldom reject a person that advertise at my blogs, except for those that send me some spmaming messages and "threated" me to approve their ads (What the kind of ppls like that in this earth...LOL)

Maybe have it so as blog owner you can choose to only allow people in your category to apply. If you don't opt in anyone can apply. I know my best conversions are often outside my niche.

I agree with Rob on that as well. If we limit ourselves to only our niche, we are not hitting people that we may not be exposing ourselves to. Who knows what others like.. a catchy widget can also bring in readers and clicks.

I have gotten a few times, not relevant.. also got a rejection on an art blog that said something nasty.. so weigh the odds there, staying in your niche, people can be afraid of competition as well.

I largely perfer to accept adverts that are within my niche, but I don't consider my niche to be stricky 'pets', so there are individuals from other categories that I'm happy to accept as well. First impressions count though, and if I don't like your card and your topic I wont accept it.

I guess I'm biased because even people not in my niche are still in my niche type thing. Also I pity people who leave mean messages when rejecting etc etc... If you're negative to someone for no reason you're not a happy person and that is too bad.
