Entre Card Difficult With Dial up -

Because I can only afford dial up, it's difficult to campaign to advertise, because of the slow downloading of the mass of Entrecard avatars, and hence I often miss out to place a ad, even with the cheaper credits to pay sites. They are invariably full or queued...

Many higher pay to advertise credit blogs with broadband must be saturating the lower credit blogs (like mine), sometimes repeatedly, as many higher credit blogs have returned to my blog to advertise (which I will never get to advertise on theirs because of their high required credit payments). Really, I spend all my time to approve their ads, and hardly ever to get to advertise on low credit sites, let alone those higher returning credit sites. I have gotten to know the names of those blogs (and they are content rich), and do read them. I wonder if they read mine to the same extent (I've yet to check in depth with Google analytics - too slow on dial up!)

So ...Maybe a system of bonus credit payments should be made from blogs repeatedly returning to lower credit blogs (some which might have perceived value - e.g. based on page rank, feed subscribers, high visitor no.'s, etc)...

Or perhaps a limitation plan on advertising, or some reciprocal system? The system seems to be only beneficial to higher credit ranked blogs, with the means to zip and hit soft targets...

I only moved away from dialup about 1 year ago. I'm not sure what it costs for an upgrade in New Zealand, but it makes working online a lot easier.

I hit the 6th spot in my category in only 5 days with a mix of dropping 300 a day, and mixing my ads between 2ec ads and 100+ec ads. You do get stats back on which ones perform the best, and I have signed up for more ads on the best 3 already.

Wish I could help more, but being outside of the US, I don't know anything about the internet providers there.
